Frozen Treats for Fido

Does your dog get very excited if he notices you eating something that smells yummy? Fido is probably more interested in things like burgers and chicken than in cold treats like ice cream. You can find ice cream for Fido in many pet stores and supermarkets, but it’s quite easy to make your own. You’ll want to start with a base. You can mix and match from a list of items, including natural peanut butter, sodium-free broth, plain yogurt, ripe bananas, pureed squash or pumpkin, and liver powder. For extra tail wags, add ‘toppers’ like bacon bits, pieces of kibble, shredded meat or cheese, broken dog treats, or pet-safe fruits and veggies, such as peas or blueberries.Pupsicles
