If your pet becomes sick or injured, do you have a partner you can count on?

When it comes to maintaining your pet’s wellbeing, prompt and accurate identification of illness or injury can make all the difference. At Claws N Paws Animal Hospital, we take pride in providing a comprehensive range of veterinary diagnostic services, from routine laboratory testing, to advanced imaging, and beyond.

Our well-equipped Columbia, MD vet clinic allows us to conduct most diagnostic tests on-site, ensuring that your companion receives the most timely and effective care. With our diagnostic abilities, we can assess both the internal and external health of our patients with utmost efficiency, allowing us to develop and implement an appropriate treatment plan, often before you and your pet even leave the exam room.

Laboratory Testing

A variety of ailments that affect companion animals can be diagnosed through laboratory tests. The sooner we understand what we’re dealing with, the sooner we can implement an effective treatment strategy. Thanks to our convenient in-house lab, our doctors are able to pinpoint potential health concerns quickly by analyzing your pet’s blood, urine, or fecal samples.

Digital X-Ray

Claws N Paws Animal Hospital uses digital x-ray technology to examine the inner workings of your pet’s body. In addition to identifying injuries, x-rays also allow us to detect internal abnormalities that might indicate the presence of injury or disease. And because this type of x-ray uses less radiation, it’s safer for your pet. Images can be reviewed in real-time or shared electronically with specialists for second opinions.

Advanced Imaging

Ultrasound imaging uses sound waves to produce images of the inside of your pet’s body. In addition to being completely safe and painless, ultrasound allows us to achieve a definitive diagnosis without having to take more invasive measures. Using ultrasound imaging, our experienced doctors can evaluate the health of your pet’s organs in real-time or forward them to a specialist if necessary.

If you’ve noticed your pet acting a little under the weather lately, and you’re concerned something’s bothering them, we can provide you with the answers you need. Get in touch today to learn more.

I love Dr. Singh! His knowledge and experience have been spot on to help get my cats healthy and stay healthy! He offers suggestions for OTC alternatives to help save your wallet and offers multiple treatment options for you to choose from. I have a *spicy* cat and Dr. Singh works with me to find options to keep everyone safe from her temper tantrums at the vet. I have been to previous vets, but Dr. Singh surpasses them in every regard!
